Jennifer McKee
Librarian - STEM, Business & Entrepreneurship, University Libraries
Jennifer McKee is a faculty librarian at CMU Libraries, specializing in Business & Entrepreneurship, and STEM disciplines. At the Libraries, she currently co-chairs the committee for Advancing AI Literacy, helping build holistic AI fluency frameworks and resources for the CMU community. In addition to this, McKee is heavily engaged at the national level within Business Librarianship, most recently around facilitating a mentorship community for early-career business librarians. She is passionate about empowering her community members with tools, strategies, and resources to help bring learners closer towards accomplishing their goals.
Her research interests relate to her educational and professional background: entrepreneurship skills development, AI fluency competencies, emerging technologies within higher education, digital and data privacy, energy infrastructure, and transportation.
McKee has a BA in History from Cornell University, an MS in Library & Information Science from Syracuse University, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Cultural Heritage Preservation from Syracuse University, and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business with concentrations in Operations Management and Strategy.
