Richard Nisa
Associate Dean of the Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology (IDeATe) Program
Richard Nisa serves as the associate dean of Carnegie Mellon’s Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology [IDeATe] Program and, in September, will become an associate teaching professor in the School of Architecture. A deeply interdisciplinary scholar, his work is situated at the intersection of infrastructure studies, technology design, historical and political geography, and architecture across the late 20th and 21st centuries.
He loves learning new skills and finding moments of creativity in the spaces and places between other, often more noticeable, things.
